Healing Ministry.
This ministry is borne out of the desire to see the Holy Ghost move in the lives of His children with healing power and anointing to restore total health and the setting at liberty of the captives under the pains and oppression of spiritual wickedness.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ declared a mandate onto every Christian believer in Mark 16:15-18,
“ And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
The scriptures say we should all go out into the world and preach the gospel and that we should exercise authority over diseases and cast out demons in the Name of Jesus. We at Forerunner group believe very firmly that the power of God to heal the sick and to set free the oppressed is still available in our days as it was at the commissioning of the first Church.
We all have been called to go and establish the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. We plan outreach meetings and crusades within local communities and we believe the Lord Jesus to see spiritual healing and deliverance by the power of God through the ministry of the Holy Ghost. We also seek to evangelize our communities with other local churches to break the hold of darkness over the oppressed and set them free to worship God.
Our focus at Forerunner Canada is not only to see the supernatural move of God in our midst, but to see the changed lives of the peoples in our communities, committed to serving and worshipping God. We believe in the direction of God by the Holy Ghost as we lead men and women to believe in God and grow to Christian maturity in deep intimacy with God Almighty. One of the cornerstone beliefs at Forerunner Canada is the establishment of a tabernacle of Worship with a continuous fire of offering in prayer, praise and worship unto the Lord. This ministry has the mandate to set up the Forerunner House of Prayer where there will be sessions of Night and Day worship offerings as was established by King David of Israel (1 Chronicles 24-26). Our focal word of mandate is found in the scriptures below;
Ps 132:4-9 “I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob. Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood. We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength. Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.
and
Ex15:2 “The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.”
Our hearts are fixed on the truth that God Almighty longs to be in our camp and he also desires that we come into His presence in covenantal fellowship. At the altar of prayer and worship is the meeting place for the Almighty God with humanity, just like the visitation at Mount Sinai. This is a place where God gives a revelation of His glory and a father’s heart unto His people. We believe that worship of God is in the center of the growth into maturity of every Christian body and the Lord has been impressing this upon our hearts.
