FORERUNNER-CANADA

We at Forerunner Canada believe that Christians are saved from the grip of Sin and set free in the Kingdom of the Son of God that we may worship God and bring praises to His Holy Name. Our Lord Jesus Christ gave unto the church the following offices, see Eph. 4:11-13 below:

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ"

This mandate was given to Christian Leaders so that they may accomplish some certain work as they work together for the growth into maturity of the Saints. We believe that the purpose for this mandate is set deep in the heart of God the father, but the Lord Jesus has given us a glimpse of the mind of the God that He desires that we grow up unto a perfect man in deep assurance of faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God. What a blessing and a hope to live for; Glory to God in the highest. Please recall the following few scriptures which have been our encouragement and intercession.

Luke 12:49-50. . . .
“I have come to bring fire on the earth. How I wish the fire had already started!50 But I have a baptism of suffering to go through. And I will be very troubled until it is completed.”

1 Cor 12:18, 28,
"And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues".

Our earnest desire and supplication is to see the unity of the body of Christ in a fully mature state, fulfilling the mandate which has been given to us Christians. We believe that the servants of God have been set in every land to seek and discover where their giftings and callings of God upon their lives will be optimally utilized to teach and nurture the Saints of God unto maturity as they pursue their purposes in God. 

We at Forerunner Canada seek the establishment of the purposes of God for our generation in this land and we encourage brethren of the need for us to be united in purpose as we tend the flock of our Lord Jesus Christ. We continue to watch closely after the following scripture to guide our prayer in the will of God, as the Holy Spirit grows the Kingdom of God over the nations.

Acts 20:24-3224 

"But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. . . . . .“28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. . . . “ 32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified".
